River Braan, Ossian’s Hall
River Braan, Ossian’s Hall

Having got my pre-loved Pentax K-7 I was eager to try it out, and since the rivers were very high I went to Ossian’s Hall to see what I could make of it.

I had the standard DA18-55mm AL WR kit lens, plus an old Sigma 70-210mm A-series Zoom, which is what I used for this shot.  Manual focusing proved to be very tricky without a split image focusing screen.  I had a lot of otherwise reasonable shots spoilt by a soft focus.
