Linn Dubh on the Brann is a favourite location. I managed to visit just before Christmas 2012 when the river was in spate.

The Braan has some wonderful waterfalls at both Rumbling Bridge and Linn Dubh. Ossian’s Hall has a balcony that overlooks it which is where this photo was taken from. The river was in spate and the waterfall roaring, as described by Dorothy Wordsworth back in 1803.
