Whilst visiting Germany, Terri had booked us a visit to the birds of prey flying display at Guttenberg Castle. It is billed as ‘The Castle of the Eagles’ and we saw Eagles! We also saw owls, falcons, vultures and probably some other types of birds of prey. The wind was from the north-east and was bitterly cold, but it meant the birds could soar the updrafts created as it blew on the cliffs.
