Loch na Creige
Loch na Creige

This loch was frozen for most of the 2009-2010 winter which was the coldest for 30 years, though it’s high (1300′, 396m) and I suspect it’s shallow so would readily freeze for at least a few days in most winters.

It’s position just next to the A826 Aberfeldy-Amulree road means that access is usually straightforward.
