
Clearly I was on a run with waterfall images that autumn! I took to reading OS maps (as presented on Streetmap) and trawling Flickr and Google for places to go to, and this was one delightful set of falls I found that way.
When I look at this image, I imagine the power of the water that has worn the channel, and I hear the roaring of the water tumbling over the falls – the biggest one is downstream under the replacement footbridge.
