The drive from the A9 at Dalwhinnie via the A86 to Spean Bridge goes right past Laggan Dam, and there is a small car park and a viewpoint.
On this day not only was the reservoir full, the dam was spilling a huge amount of water left, right and centre.
It was an amazing sight and sound, and the plume of spray was visible from quite some distance away.
