The Braan has some wonderful waterfalls at both Rumbling Bridge and Linn Dubh. Ossian’s Hall has a balcony that overlooks Linn Dubh which is where this photo was taken from.
The river was in spate and the waterfall roaring, as described by Dorothy Wordsworth in 1803.
