Potatoes are planted in big ridges, by big machines pulled by big tractors! In the right light they make stunning semi-abstract images.
This field is visible from the A91 between Strathmiglo and Gateside. These are the some of the first images I took when I changed to a Pentax K5 II, which had better low light performance than the K7, and also handled contrast slightly better.
Someone said they reminded them of some of Bridget Riley’s work and I can see where they were coming from. I found working on them a somewhat dazzling experience!
