Grass
Grass

Santa came early in 2014, as I treated myself to a new and rather expensive long zoom lens.

I took some test shots in the village with it and the older long zoom lens and was delighted with the image quality it produced. I repeated them with the old DA 55-300mm lens, and the difference was clear.

The new lens was producing sharper images with more contrast. I wish I could afford another DA* lens or two! (I might then also need a porter)

Most of the shots I took were banal, but I rather liked the intense green of the grass and the deep reflected blue of the sky in this one.
