The gardens are wonderful, and have been described by Historic Environment Scotland as “the best example of formal terraced gardens in Scotland.” Their website has lots of information and images, including some drone footage. They were used in Outlander as the stand in for the ornate park and orchard of the Palace of Versailles in France.
