These gardens are a gem, tucked away off the Dundee Road on the eastern edge of Perth. It’s not too far to walk from the centre (in my view!), and the footbridge alongside the railway from Perth to Dundee is not only pleasanter than walking along busy roads, it gives some lovely views of the Tay and of course has railway interest.
I visited in early June, and many of it’s splendid collection of Meconopsis (Himalayan Poppies) were in full flower.
