Kinnoull Tower
Kinnoull Tower

Kinnoull Hill is a tidy walk up from the centre of Perth, though there is a car park at it’s northern boundary which saves most of the distance and about half of the climbing. The escarpment over the Tay gives a dramatic view across to Fife, and down to the Tay and the A90 road.

Apparently the Tower is a folly built to resemble castles on the Rhine.
