Corra Linn is the largest of the three waterfalls at Falls of Clyde. There is often not much water coming down as there’s a weir just above Bonnington Linn that extracts water for the Bonnington Power Station, just downstream of Corra Linn. The Scottish Wildlife Trust’s web page for Falls of Clyde has photo with much more water!
The Lanark Hydro Electric Scheme is the oldest producing electricity for public consumption in Scotland, and when I was there in the Autumn of 2020 the power station appeared to be undergoing external restoration.
Errington Cheese have named a cheese after this waterfall! It’s a “hard ewes’ milk cheese made with unpasteurised milk and traditional lambs rennet”.
