I got up very, very early and drove to Rannoch Station to see the sun rise (due just before 9am), and it was very, very cold and shrouded in mist.
However as I went for a short walk along the start of the path along Loch Laddon via Black Corries Lodge to the Kings House Hotel in Glencoe, the sun did start to peep out. Unfortunately I had left the DSLR in the car so had to make do with my phone.
Time was spent looking round the Station, which has a Tearoom (not open when I was there) and a Visitors Centre with a lot of interesting (to me) photos of building the line. I also got to see a freight train travelling south.
