The weather for Christmas Day was good enough to go for a walk, so I revisited the Birks of Aberfeldy.
When I was there in 2010 i was towards the end of a very, very cold December with the consequence that the Falls of Moness were pretty much frozen top to bottom – I’ve included that shot in this gallery. It was also noticeable that the trees had grown so the view I had before of the Falls was becoming obscured.
2022 was very different, so there was plenty of running water this time. It still seemed a steep walk up and down!
