This was the day we visited the Mozart House, and revisited the Spanish Riding School. For variation we took a different way into Vienna by tram from Floridsdorf rather than by the U6 underground train. Walking from the tram terminus to the centre took us past the Ankeruhr (Anchor clock), though we didn’t see it in action.

Before the Riding School, we visited the Imperial Treasury in the Hofburg Palace. It was very hard to know what to take photos of there as it was a stunning exhibition of Imperial wealth and pomp.

The Spanish Riding School was just next door, and we really enjoyed the stable tour. They have what they said is the biggest indoor walker in the world! However the horses were the stars. The chap in the bright red top in one of the photos was our guide, and we weren’t to take photos when we were in the stables.
