Wave Soaring
Wave Soaring

My first flight in my own glider following lockdown, and what a great flight! I managed to get to 6,500′ above the airfield. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to try to get into the upper wave system.

The M90 is in the bottom left-hand corner. The village is Bridge of Earn, the almost straight line from the bottom right-hand corner is the Ladybank to Perth railway, the Earn is snaking across from the left, and beyond that the Tay is visible. Perth is in shadow behind the small fluffy clouds, and the upper system is clearly visible in the top right.
